Event Details:

- Who: All young women
- Where: Camp Caney Creek (4045 N Farm to Market 1486, Montgomery, TX) with a visit to the Houston Temple.
- Registration: Registration available till May 9th. Registering for camp is a 2-step process:Step 1: Complete this online form and the accompanying Church Participation and Medical Release Form. Click here to complete this step. Step 2: Use a tithing slip to pay the $100 camp fee. Note: You cannot pay for camp online. You must have $100 cash or check payable to your ward. On the tithing slip write “Stake YW Camp” on the “Other” line. If possible please submit full payment by May 9th. But at minimum, $50 is due by May 9th, with the remaining $50 due by June 15th.
Activity Description
Girls Camp gives young women an opportunity to “gather together, separate from worldly influences, feel the Spirit of the Lord, grow in unity and love, and strengthen their faith and testimonies of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.” This year Girls Camp will take place from July 7-9 and includes a 2-night stay at Camp Caney Creek where several fun ammenities are available: a Challenge Course, canoeing and kayaking, archery, swimming, crafts, and outdoor sports. We’ll also make a trip to the Houston Temple.
Camp Goals:
- To help each young woman deepen their faith and reliance on Jesus Christ.
- To increase in unity and friendship and find strength in our sisterhood.
