Activity Description
Trek 2025 is a multi-day youth activity that involves a pioneer reenactment experience. Participants will dress in period-appropriate clothing, pull handcarts, and engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, team-building exercises, and spiritual devotionals. The event will take place from June 12–14, 2025, and is designed to help youth strengthen their faith, build friendships, and gain a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices and perseverance of the early pioneers. Trek will include physically demanding activities and require participants to follow guidelines set by leaders for safety and spiritual focus.

Purpose of Trek:

  • To help youth better understand the principles of faith, sacrifice, and perseverance demonstrated by the pioneers.
  • To provide an opportunity for personal spiritual reflection and growth.
  • To foster a sense of unity and teamwork among participants.
  • To encourage gratitude for the blessings of the gospel and the sacrifices of those who came before.

Trek is a transformative experience that leaves a lasting impact on participants, reminding them that they, like the pioneers, can face their challenges with faith and courage.
